Pickled Red Onions

Servings: 4 • Prep time: 5 mins • Cook time: 15 mins • Total time: 20 mins

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Onion, julienned
  • ½ C Sugar
  • 1 C Vinegar
  • ½ C Water
  • Pinch of Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice onions paper thin, place into a bowl.
  2. In a small pot, combine sugar, vinegar, water, and a pinch of salt 
  3. Bring to a boil
  4. Remove brine from stove and pour over onions while still hot
  5. Let it cool, in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes.
