- 1 Onion, julienned
- ½ C Sugar
- 1 C Vinegar
- ½ C Water
- Pinch of Salt
- Slice onions paper thin, place into a bowl.
- In a small pot, combine sugar, vinegar, water, and a pinch of salt
- Bring to a boil
- Remove brine from stove and pour over onions while still hot
- Let it cool, in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes.
